example if I go to load a song on deck 1, the same song will load physically on Deck 2 ? if I load a song on Deck 2 it will physically load on Deck 1. They load on opposite sides. 1st i thought it was my denons sc3900's. then i thought it was the newest version of VDJ that i just installed. (7.4.1) so i uninstalled it and installed (7.4) i still have the same problems ? so i dont even have the denons plugged it, restarted my laptop open up VDj and with the american audio 14mxr only connected. the songs still load on both decks at the same tyme & play on the wrong side ? please help as to i have a gig this saturday & i'm really stressing. Please see My Video link thanx. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Adfq1zoA1Qk

So, while this happens, all you have in your USB ports connected is the AA MXR ? What is the Sound Setup you have in Config ? Can you post a screenshot ?
Try this...
Launch VDJ with a 4 decks skin. See if in Mappers tab ->Deck assignment, you get any options now. If you do, make sure its set to Left-Right.
Then choose your 2 deck skin back, and relaunch to see if the issue remains.
In case you connect the Denon DC units, make sure one of them is assigned as Deck 1 and the other as Deck 2.
The wrong side of Sound Output may be related to reverted Sound Setup ..E.g. if you are using External Mixer ..Maybe Deck 1 and Deck 2 need to be reverted in Sound Outputs option.

1st i was testing with the denons & 14mxr. then disconnected the denons. so yes only 14mxr. i'll try the 4 deck skin in when i get back home. and yup the denons are assigned deck 1 / deck 2. sound set up is: inputs (none) / outputs (external mixer) deck 1: chan 1&2 / deck 2: chan 3&4. sound card ADJ Asio. to give ya a lil insight i (Had) the American Audio 10MXR, 2 denons sc3900's, VDJ. all set up working fine. but i sold the 10mxr and bought the 14mxr brand new cause i needed more aux/line inputs & needed the 2 mic option. so all i did was unhook the 10mxr & hooked up the 14mxr. i didnt change anything in VDJ setup ? so this is why i'm so puzzled?

well djdad i did the 4 deck skin thing and no there was no deck assignment option. but i did run across this video and in the video it shows when he loaded a song to deck A i seen it also load up on the other side at the same tyme ? so i wonder if this is normal for the 14mxr should i instal the mapper from this VDJ website or no because the 14mxr has native support already ? see video at 3:42 min = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLVCeP84acM

The MXR series are natively supported, so there should be no need to have any custom mappers installed. Actually in Devices and Mapper folders, make sure no MXR files exist, and repeat your tests.
If the issue still persists, there might be an issue with the default mappers. Since i dont currently have the unit, could u please do the following ?
- Close VirtualDJ and any other application that might use the AA MXR unit.
- Use Miditrace.. http://www.virtualdj.com/download/miditrace.exe
- Once the application is launched, select the unit from both right-top and right-bottom lists.
- Press SEND
- Press the left LOAD button.
- Press the right LOAD button
- While pressing SHIFT.. press the left LOAD button
- While pressing SHIFT.. press the right LOAD button
Copy all the data the tool will provide and paste them here.
Thanks
PS. While you re having the loading issue..(with VirtuaLDJ), is the SHIFT button lit or flashing ?

The error most likely was the zero value, which was 0x00 as per the manual, but 0x40 as per your Miditrace results.
LOAD Left Button / LED 101 / 101 00H = released, 7FH = pressed Note on 90H (91H)
LOAD Right Button / LED 102 / 102 00H = released, 7FH = pressed Note on 90H (91H)
Will have the units shortly (from our Warehouse), but those may be pre-production models, so we will let MXR users know if any updated mapper files are needed.
Glad it worked for you.

@DJDAD just wondering if you have a mapping for the 14mxr?

there is no custom mapping for the 14MXr. Is there an issue with the default one ?
