Hey guys,
I would like to use my iPad as a midi XYpad controller for virtual DJ effects does anyone know of an app that does that? I have seen many DJ and sampler apps that have this function built into the system to affect audio that is originating from the app. What I want is a midi controller app that sends the data to Virtual DJ and controls the effect parameters remotely. It would be best if this was done via the internet link using the same protocols of VDJ remote. This would allow me to affect VDJ plugins remotely.
If this feature is already available or anyone knows of a app that does this please reply to this thread.

The only way you could hack it with the remote skin engine is make an array of say 100 buttons all placed next to each other in a grid, then just map them all 'effect active while_pressed & effect slider 1 ##%' & effect slider 2 ##%'
you would need to modify the ## with the relevant number eg
[S1-0% S2-100%][S1-10% S2-100%][S1-20% S2-100%][S1-30% S2-100%][S1-40% 100%][S1-50% 100%] etc..
[S1-0% S2-90%][S1-10% S2-90%][S1-20% S2-90%][S1-30% S2-90%][S1-40% 90%][S1-50% 90%] etc..
[S1-0% S2-80%][S1-10% S2-80%][S1-20% S2-80%][S1-30% S2-80%][S1-40% 80%][S1-50% 80%] etc..
etc..
It would probably take a while to make though...
