My video gig laptop died last night. So I need a new one - quickly!
I think 15 inch is the best size for performance, portability and heat.
PC is still preferred to mac on VDJ?
I want both VGA and HDMI, full HD resolution, enough CPU and geforce graphic card.
Been looking now for this (sorry for finnish language, specs are still readable!)

First one seems to be very good, only downside is that its not available imediately, I would have to wait for 2-4 weeks to get the laptop.
Only difference with latter two, is the graphic card (and price!). Is there any benefit from having two SLI cards. Another playing deck 1 and another deck2? :D
EDIT: I use VCI-400 controller. Is there any unexpected things with Windows8? My previous laptop had Windows7.
When VDJ8 is released, is there any changes of recommendations of laptop since then? Does anyone know? SLI support?

Hmm I just noticed that they offer some Vrtual Dj version with this laptop:

is it somehow optimized for VDJ? CPU seems to be poor but it has touchscreen.

I don't think it will be optimized. I think it's just a result of Atomix deal with Acer (The "Superstar DJ" commercial/advert for their P3 Ultrabook). Apparently you also get some exclusive Tiesto content (stems).
