Hello Everyone,
A few weeks after I did a Kwaito mix, I made my first Mid-Tempo House mix of my favorite UK Garage tracks.
As a fan of Kwaito and Garage/House, I learned that Mid-Tempo House music influenced Kwaito music
during the late 80s and early 90s and also developed South Africa's House Music scene. When I was in
college, I became more of a fan of UK Garage than Kwaito (as it seemed to phase out). I remember reading
somewhere that Diplo classified Kwaito as "slowed House and Garage music for urban South African youths".
After listening to Mid-Tempo mixes from South African DJs like Oskido, DJ Christos, Glenn Lewis, and Static
Plastic, I decided to do one. Here are 2 mixes that I've done over the past couple of months. Let me know
