This CloudLists feature has caused me to stay up later than I wanted to, thanks.....
But really, thanks for the update. I appreciate that you guys are taking the time to make sure 8 is stable. As well as also appreciating that you allow the upgrades at no charge. It will be nice to not see complaints about the netsearch video every day....

It runs stable, but it's nothing to write home about, but hey, it's just a 0.5 update, so that's okay. (Even though the one new, big feature in this version absolutely leaves me cold.)

Its just the same as 7.0.5,i don´t see any improvement,as long as i still cannot use 48khz sound cards,sound engine and timecode still the same,the fade to black still is on volume sliders,the scratch is still very poor,and you are very aware of that.

Every update is a update! I really appreciate the effort they put in the program FOR FREE!
New Controllers supported and bug fixes are great updates!
The cloud list is (for premium members) also a great update, but the most of you guys have seen and heard about v8 updates porting to v7.x so you expect more than this...
I'm looking forward to more of the v8 updates in v7.x or the full v8 version, but till then I'm still very satisfied with my software and effort from VDJ!
EDIT: I agree with the people that want a better sound engine / sound card support. Now my Pioneer CDJ's sound so much better that I now choose to use OR the VDJ OR the CDJ's because of the difference in sound quality. But hey... It's already announced so I'm waiting for that :)

I must admit it does seem more like a 7.0.6 than a 7.1, but hey it's something and it's here.
The question now is: Are we going to go straight from here to 8, or have to sit through 7.2, 7.3, 7.4........
Or even 7.1.1 then 7.1.2 etc. NOOOO!!!

i was really really confused here.. it said previously that i could only hear a 30 sec preview but the entire track played... whistle mike candys festival bootleg by flo rida on the vdj list.
then the nextr track popped up the window saying had to be premium.
weird.

They are working on it - it's called Version 8. Do you really beleave it's just plug & play to change the Soundengine or other basic parts of the Software ?
Try to programm a "Hello world" by your own to see how much work it just to open a Window with C++ then we can talk again. **LOL**
I don't think that they want to hold something back - not shure why everyone is crying about that. It's JUST NOT FINISHED ! An i really do enjoying the time of waiting for a STABLE VERSION.
Anyway - Thanx Atomix for this update. 7.1 seems to work solid.
Hope to see V8 soon ;-)

Yeah I got that too. It's done it a few times (on 7.0.5 too).
Seems to be when you first log in it plays the whole thing, then realises the mistake!

Videos play in full (as you know) but audio files are truncated. Any audio I have tried today definitely only played for 30 secs. You used to be allowed to cache and play a couple of tracks a day for free but that doesn't seem to happen now!

No :) you are granted one or two free ones as a test of the feature :)

Ah, that explains it!
I did try the premium membership for a while, but it's not something I need.
I always make sure I've got the music required for a gig before I leave the house.
If someone asks for a track I don't have (doesn't happen very often) then I say I don't have it......but I make sure I get it for next time.
