Hi there.... not sure if this is the appropriate place to post, please advise if so and I will move it accordingly.
Key-lock no-longer functions.
When I change the tempo of a track manually or by syncing it the pitch appears to change even though the "KeyLock" value is enabled. Should also note that "PureScratch" is not enabled.
I am unsure why this function nolonger works as there have been no change to the setup
- Win 7 Enterprise
- Virtual DJ 7 Pro b380
- American Audio VMS4 DJ Dad v2 mapper
- American Audion VMS4 Controller
- Sound Card | External Mixer | VMS4

..."The pitch appears to change.."
Of course the pitch will change, but if Keylock is enabled, it will "Lock" the Key of the song. If Keylock is enabled and Pitbull sounds like JLO when changing the pitch in large values, try the Advanced Master Tempo (Config->Performance)

Hi guys, I can confirm that if you set the Master Tempo to "pure scratch" it does prevent you from using the keylock feature. That could be a "working as designed" thing. If you set the Master Tempo to Advanced Stretching, you regain use of keylock.
Thanks for the tip.

This is exactly as designed (And clearly indicated by the labelling of the option 'PureScratch (no master tempo)')
It gives an improved scratch sound/response at the expense of not being able to use master tempo/keylock.
