Try the iCloud that may help.

Plug your IPOD using USB connector to your MAC. Then open your iTUNES program in MAC and in the left panel of the iTUNES window you will see your IPOD device, just click that and it will display all the song you have in your iPOD in the main panel of the iTUNES window, just select the song you want to backup and drag them anywhere you want. Hope this will help.

You can manage your music via iTunes or iCloud either.

NOTE: Those who do need to transfer music from iPod/iPhone, etc. to your computer can do so for free using iTunes. All the music that you have purchased is available to download again at any time from iCloud. You should always make a full backup of your entire music collection and any other files that are important to you on a regular basis.
