Topic: Denon dn-mc6000 stuck on STANDBY mode... how to get out...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

My DN-MC6000 is not starting, only lights in standby mode. I've tried to activate the automatic standby mode "on" and then hit restart, then switched it into "off" and turned it on and off and nothing happened. Could someone help me, please! Thanks!

You may have accidentally change the MIDI channels that it operates on.

Press SHIFT+BROWSER to switch it back to the default.

Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DN-MC6000.html for further information and troubleshooting.

My Denon dn-mc6000 connected to power and won't turn on only standby light on. Restarted and still no fix? Please help?

Did you try resetting the MIDI channel (message above yours)?

Have you contacted Denon support?

This can also happen if one of the ribbon cables to the main board have come loose or aren't contacting properly. Seen this a couple of times while repairing buttons on my friends controllers.

Is the standby switch in the front of the controller on?
