So I've had my Numark Mixdeck for about two years now, it works great and I've used it for several gigs. Just recently I bought a Sony PS LX300USB turntable and have been having issues getting it to work on Virtual DJ Pro alongside my mixdeck. If someone could shed some light on my problem, that would be great. I have timecoded vinyl, so that's not the problem.

Can you please shed some light on the problems you have? You've got issues but that doesn't define your problems....

Oh sorry, I guess I should have specified. I'm able to have my mixdeck running in virtual DJ just fine, but I want to be able to use this vinyl deck also. But when I go to configure the timecode, I don't have enough channels. To solve this, I went out and got a DJ iO, a USB audio interface which seems to have solved the channel problems. However, when I go to set up the timecode, it's at 0% :S

Numark DJIO is not a suitable sound card for timecode use. It doesn't have the required inputs (Only a mono microphone input, which is unsuitable) and is designed and intended for mouse/keyboard or MIDI controller users only.

To use timecode, you will need a suitable ASIO capable sound card with at least 4 inputs (2 stereo) and 4 outputs. Please see: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Timecode%20Requirements.html

You will also need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional to be able to use timecode. If you like VirtualDJ, please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (If you have already purchased, please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html )

NOTE: If your MixDeck came with VirtualDJ LE, then you can upgrade to the full Pro at a discount, assuming that it's not second-hand and the discount has already been used.
