Topic: Cracking/crackling noise from rmx? Help Please :)

I have a distorted crackling noise coming intermittently out of our pa, I have played here over the last 6 weeks with no probs but tonight I'm getting this noise, vdj and drivers are up to date, all good lead running into a di box then to amp etc I have been getting a bit of noise from my mic lead but I unplugged it and still happens, will have to wait till after this gig before I can restart computer, I want to try running laptop without battery? Any suggestions please cheers
