Topic: Virtual DJ won't match with current iTunes library

Hello!
I love this program and until 2 months ago used it all the time for DJ gigs with my Macbook.
That is until the software stopped using iTunes properly.
The program now uses my iTunes library from about 2 months ago. I've added a lot of music and playlists since then and can't seem to get them to match up properly.
I've tried uninstalling and getting all the proper updates but still nothing.

any ideas?

have you tried right clicking on itunes in your VDJ browser list in the left pane and selecting "reload itunes" ?
 
I have tried that yup, and still nothing?...
 
Same issue here. Right-clicking and refreshing in VDJ doesn't fix the issue. Any other ideas?

I had that issue recently. It has to do with the naming convention of the current itunes library file. I'm looking for the thread where i found my solution for you now.
 
 
Fantastic! that fixed it. Is there any chance that Virtual DJ will give the user the ability to select the library? regardless of the name? I think that would be the most flexible way to handle these types of issues.
