Topic: Can't listen to both tracks at once in headphones?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey there, My problem is, i have a headphones setup on my virtual dj, but i can only listen to one track at once, (using pfl) is there any way to listen to both tracks in my headphones and have only 1 track in the master output? like all mixers? i saw a tutorial in setting up headphone sound and it said to move a cue slider to mix, on the top of the skin, well i dont have that i just got a knob that says cue under master and it doesnt let me have both tracks in headphones channel, im using virtual dj 7 and the defualt 2 track skin

Also, the headphones output is less latency than the master, any way to fix this?

Aren't there any buttons on your controller to choose deck 1 and/or deck 2?

Sounds like using VDJ7 Home or are you licensed user ?

I have the exact same problem, I have looked at all the skins available and haven't been able to find the slider that I read about. I would like to be able to hear both decks in the headphones when I prefer to but I'm not sure how to. I am using vdj 7.0.3 licensed for mac...
Maybe I am in the wrong forum, I just noticed that it says PC version but jigwarnah has the same problem that I do anyway. Anybody got a solution? Thanks

Most 4 deck skins including the default included with VirtualDJ v7 have PFL buttons that can be toggled on/off for each deck, allowing more than one deck to be pre-listened to at the same time.

Most 2 deck skins only allow 1 deck to be selected at a time, but you can listen to both simultaneously by moving the headphone CUE/MIX knob (If the skin has one) to middle position (12 o'clock), so that both the pre-listened deck and master are output at equal levels in your headphones.

NOTE: To be able to download and use custom skins, you will need to purchase and register VirtualDJ. If you like VirtualDJ, please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
