This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello.

Just got my MC6000 to work with VDJ and my new Macbook pro.
But have an issu with the internal volumes.
When i start up mc6000/VDJ the internal volume knobs for channel 1 and 2 are set to 0 in VDJ.

How do i get the volume to set to 50%?

Hello.

Im using Denons MC 6000. So i control volume on the MC 6000.
But when i start up VDJ on the Mac the volume controlers on dec A and B in VDJ is set to 0%.
What i want is the volume controller in VDJ on dec A and B to be set to 50% or 100% when i start VDJ.

This is a common problem with the MC6000 when using it in Int Mix (Hardware audio mixer mode) because its firmware still initially sends the MIDI fader positions in this mode.

As already advised above, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DN-MC6000.html for solutions.

I.e: Map VOLUME to nothing, so it no-longer has any effect.

If you are using it in software mixer mode (PC Mix) then simply put the faders at maximum before starting VirtualDJ. Or you could try using ONINIT mapping as instructed on the above page, but then they will not match the real positions of the actual faders.
