I recently purchased the Mixtrack (non-pro), and was thinking of adding an external soundcard. However, I can currently configure virtual dj to use my headphone out for my headphones and the HDMI out to send to my speakers. This is on an HP laptop. So far it seems to be working alright. Now I'm wondering if I need the external sound card. Are there any downsides or limitations to just using the hardware in my laptop this way?
