I just bought a Hercules Dj Console Rmx, which comes with Virtual DJ LE 5.2. and it wont let me use the cross-fader, Volume for deck A, Volume for Main, and Volume for Deck B, bit it shows up on the screen that i'm moving it? I seen that somebody said you can turn on the cross-fader and stuff in the configuration menu of virtual dj. But when I go to the configuration menu there is only one tab and its about upgrading to pro version. There are no options or anything... Am i doing something wrong or is it something else?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

You're probably listening through headphones. When listening through headphones, you have to use the volume knob next to the headphone jack. If you want to use the crossfader and volume, you need to have speakers or a stereo plugged into the back of the mixer (output 1-2). If you want, you can even plug your headphones into output 1 if you don't have a stereo to plug into it. The main point of the headphone jack is to preview a song that's on low volume so the crowd can't hear it but you can to make sure it mixes good with the song already playing. To select which song you want to listen to through the headphones, press the cue select button on either Deck A or Deck B.
