I've ordered about 1000 Red/Cyan 3D glasses and have converted a handful of 2D music videos into Anaglyph (3D) mp4's.
The effect is not exactly Avatar, more so Jaws 3D (the old 80's style), but it seems to do a good effect. I also mix in some true 3D Video Effects from clipbank and that helps when I want to just play an mp3.
I just want to know if I'm the only one playing with this style of DJing, and if I'm not, what have you learned in your process of attempting such a dance event. Any rookie tips?
One thing I have learned already..3D and drinking almost don't mix..lol..That's why I have to do it in 20 minute bursts, otherwise their minds are blown and they are stumbling all over the place.

how did you manage to process the video trough your ... "monitor's, tv's, projector's ??? , because of the 60hz refresh rate ??? are all they 3D capable ???

He is using the old way of doing 3d I think (the old blury blue and red without glasses). That way you dont need 120hz (60hz per eye).

That's correct. The old fashion red and blues do the trick. I have to render the videos in a software that converts them into a 3d file.

You could break a record by inducing hangovers and dizziness all round by midnight.

I am reading for 3 months about 3d.
1. Buy a projector or tv that does the 2d to 3d conversion automatically.
2. Stop converting
3. Ask VDJ to cooperate with Cyberlink to offer 3d conversion automatically.
4. Wait a year for the glasses-free TVs
5. Wait companies and stars to video-shoot in native 3d videoclips for best quality.
What about djing with x-box kinect?

I'm currently using Leawo Video Converter. It does a real solid job! Costs about $30.00 and allows you to convert to all styles 3d. Converts fast, too!
