Topic: Help please for ddj ergo sound/cpu usage

I need help badly,i have just purchased a ddj ergo,done the set up as per the disc,when i load up virtual my cpu goes through the roof,constant 90-100%,also sound is seriously distorted,the laptop i m using is a packard bell easynote lj61,amd athlon(tm) x2 dual core ql-64 2.10,3.00 ram - 2.75 usable,32 bit operating system. I am no computer whizz so please any help will be appreciated.Thanks
