Topic: Timecodes and Numark Ndx 400's

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey,

I recently got my maya 44 usb device to connect my set to my laptop. I have 2 Numark 400's and a Numark M3 Mixer. I also burnt the timecodes for the turntables.( which one should i use? consumer grade or pro grade timecode?). I got everything working including the quality, which is at 100% right now. everything is good except for the fact that my ndx's seem to be very limited when it comes to controlling VDJ PRO. Is this expected? or is there any way to configure the buttons on the turntables to match some functions in VDJ respectfully, such as cues, loops, pitch, atc.? all i really want to do is be able to use and control virtual dj with my Ndx's. Any help or advice would be extremely appreciated.

Thanks

What version of the software are you using? Home Free, LE, or Pro?

Try the consumer grade first.

If that doesn't work, try the pro grade.

The only difference is the output level (To compensate for the higher output of some pro CD players.)

Also, please don't type in ALL CAPS. This is commonly seen as shouting by other Internet users and considered rude.

Please do you think that the Hercules DJ Trim with V7 pro will give me professional Timcode mixing like the Numark Virtual Vinyl Park?
Thank you.
