Topic: Problem with Vestax Typhoon jog

Hi,

I'm actually using a Vestax Typhoon and I have VDJ LE and VDJ Free installed on my computer. I can scratch with the left deck but not with the right deck. I have read on this forum that to solve this problem you need to change on VDJ Free the Jog mode and switch it to "Vinyl". I've done this change but nothing is changing. I've also tried to change the Jog mode using the VDJ LE pro trial but nothing is changing again...

Go into CONFIG -> Options in either Home FREE or LE with 20-day Pro trial activated and check that it is set to: Jog Mode: Vinyl

If it is set to CD/Vinyl, then one deck is in vinyl (Scratch) mode and the other is not. Click on it until it is set to: Vinyl.

If it is set to Vinyl and the jogwheel still doesn't scratch, then it may be faulty.
 
The Jogwheel still doesn't scratch... and when I connect my controller on my other computer, wich has the same configuration (VDJ LE and Free), it still doesn't work too... When I click on Jog mode in "Settings", I only have two choices : Vinyl or CD. Do you think that's a hardware or software problem ?
 
If it doesn't work on multiple computers then I'd say it's a hardware issue.

Check the touch sensor sensitivity knobs on the rear of the Typhoon. It's possible that one of these has been turned down.
