Hello! So i've been djing for quite some time now and I would like to incorporate live keyboard sounds over my mix with the hercules rmx. How do I do this ? The oxygen 49 has only a usb connection so i assume it would have to be another channel to it, like a 3rd deck. I do not want to use it for controlling the tracks, I want to make fresh sounds with the keys being the actual notes. Thank you!

The only type of music you can play with VDJ is pre-recorded tracks.
You can't generate keyboard sounds.
For that you'll need software such as Ableton Live, Cubase, Reason etc.
There are lots of similar keyboards that come with a 'Lite' version of suitable software in the box.

What's a "channer"?
You can link some music software to VDJ with something called ReWire, which allows two apps to run in sync - one as master, the other as slave. With VDJ, it always has to be the master, and the linked software simply follows the tempo of VDJ.
