Topic: I'm having problems................

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

when I first started using this program I had not too many problems at all and now all of the sudden I am having a serious problem it keeps telling me that I have an error and I have no Idea of what it going on is anyone else having this problem or can someone guide me to the answer to solve this problem.......THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll have to provide a lot more information than just saying you have an error...

Which version and build?

You can get it from Config> info

I have virtual dj 7pro and I also tried the home free version just to check and see if it was just me
it just tells me record error and also can not open the file that I am trying to record it does not say anything else went into the config menu and I don't see anything there strange or different at all I'm losing my mind can't mix right now and it's been going on for 2 weeks now one minute it was working fine and the next it just kicked out,it does not give me an error number or anything

im vdj7 pro as well and everyone knows that by looking at the author.... but u seem to b a non licence user and claim to b a pro

What exact steps are you taking to make that message come up?

It would also help if you told us your operating system and which sound card(s) etc. you're using.

The more info you provide, the easier it is to help you.

hi to start off im new to VDJ and also with a controller, so here it is i have an dn-mc6000 and also have vdj pro i chose this because of the fact of its reputation ok. So heres the problem im having is there a reason why the efx buttons sends a message error xml plugin file and also when i start the vdj software im using with windows 7 thanx for your help in solving this

Record problem: could be caused, because VDJ doesn't find the lame-encoder. Fix this by searching for the encoder in your start menu (in windows, or finder in MAC), then see what the actual location is and then go to VDJ record configuration and change the location to the "real" one. Problem should be solved then ;)
