Topic: Beginning DJ, Please Help

Hi all. I'm new to the DJ world, and I need help on something I've been trying to do for the past few weeks.
How can I preview a song on my headphones, and have another song playing through my speakers?
I have the Numark Mixtrack Pro and a Windows 7 HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC, 64-bit operating system.
My Virtual DJ 7 Pro sound setup is:
Inputs > None
Outputs > Headphones > Master: Front Output / Headphones: Rear Output
Soundcard > 4.1 > Speakers (Mixtrack Pro)

I've also tried:
Inputs > None
Outputs > Headphones > Master: Chan 1&2 / Headphones: Chan 3&4
Soundcard > Numark

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html - NOTE: If it came with VirtualDJ LE, you can upgrade to Pro at a considerable discount by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html and entering your VirtualDJ LE serial number in the box provided in the upgrade section.

Set your sound settings as described on the following page http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MixTrack%20Pro.html, making sure that you pay attention to the following line:

Plug a pair of powered stereo speakers into master output on the back of the MixTrack Pro and your headphones into the headphone socket of the MixTrack Pro.
