i put a track in deck one on my vdj and it loads on both of my decks on my cdj 400's

iv gone to config and chosen

ext mixer, deck 1: first card/ deck 2 : second card and vise versa

sound card, speakers (3- pioneer cdj400) and (4- pioneer cdj400) and vise versa

my set up is with 2 usb cables out of my 400's and into my lappy.

There should be an option on the CDJ itself (in menu I think) to set it to another number. By default all CDJs come set as 1, this will be why it loads on both as VDJ thinks there is one player. Leave deck one as 1 and change the deck two to 2.

Hopes this helps.
