Topic: Hopeless - Help? - Apparently There Is No Solution? - Numark V7

I recently had some issues with my V7 set. Virtual Dj 7 Pro would stutter on me and mis-match the BPMs, but after some computer tweaking, I was able to resolve that. Everything has greatly improved in their performance to the point where I feel the V7's are the perfect controllers for such software............But there is one situation that still hasn't been resolved and searching on Google and other forums has led me to brick walls. During a mix (and this has happened to me every single time I begin a session, not to mention when I'm performing live) My MASTER V7 -DECK A (about 14 or sometimes 30 minutes) into the mix will restart the song to the beginning- Throwing off the entire mix forcing me to quickly switch to the other deck to avoid the cluster of noise. After many trial and error, Ive concluded that this only happens once in the entire set. Meaning....at some point during a session, I am guaranteed that it will fuck up.

I've already disabled the Strip Search because I've been told that the -restart- is caused by "small vibrations in the strip search" - and yet, it continues to do it. Ive read of many other people having this same issue and Ive yet to see a solution that will fix this...

My specs:

XPS L50 1X
RAM: 4Gigs
64 bit OS

(PS - other than that, everything else runs smoothly and fluidly, which is what gets me a worked up, the fact that this little nuisance is all that prevents my Dj Set from being (in my standards, even tough nothing is perfect) 100 % fail free)

Any help, comments, feedback....or better, a solution is appreciated :S

Sounds to me as if you should be taking this up with Numark, not Atomix.
 
i am too having this same problem and i am really starting to get pissed of because the numark v7 does not do this in serato or traktor only virtual dj im trying to find a solution to this problem it seems like people are turning a blind eye to this problem either because they don't own a nv7 or they just don't care and not understanding the frustration people are going through with this problem and there are many
 
I am having exactly the same problem with a pair of Numark V7's; I can count on a track that's playing restarting itself at least once a night while I am cuing the other deck (and generally only once in a 6-hour set, but maybe twice). I can play a whole night with a Numark Mixtrack with no problems at all, but switch to the V7's and I know I'm going to have to cover my *ss at some point. Come on guys, can't you borrow a pair of V7's or maybe an NS7 and spin some tunes for a few hours? There's obviously an issue here.
 
My friend had the same issue using VDJ with 2 Numark V7s.. I saw that USB usage was all over the place with nothing really connected besides the V7s.. I adjusted his Latency to 256 samples and it has not stopped and restarted songs anymore.. Everything was working fine until he decreased latency.. He didn't know what it was but it was the LATENCY... Now I want me the same setup....
 
Just bought a pair of V7's.... having the same problem! So far I've just been messing around at the house with em (waiting on cases so I can go mobile). But one of the first days it was doing it every ten minutes, or so. Its been better lately, maybe just once a nite, but I can't stay I've gave them 4/5 hour run without stopping, yet!! Any more ideas for a fix?? I've tried changing the lacency, both in the VDJ7 software and in the ASIO driver settings, but doesn't seem to change much!?!?

Other issues I've had-
- When first power everything up, the linked V7 will sometimes play at double speed? I'll turn it off and back on and it will be fine???
- A couple times, the master V7, after playing with loop controls, I will loose the back scratch noise. I'll can pull the vinyl back and the track will back up but no sound through the monitor, forward only. Even if I load a different track. Last time, I started messing around with effects and it started working properly??

Any help would be great!!
