I have condensed down my genres and there are folders with nothing in them - how do I get rid of them? I have 'checked' the drives in the browser. please help, thanks in advance?

When you say "there are folders with nothing in them", if you mean the list of genres on the left of the browser in VDJ, those will update themselves once you close and reopen VDJ - if you've done your genre tag editing within VDJ.

As above from Groovindj ..... if you have removed the genre with an external tag editor wou will need to select the tracks in the VDJ browser, reload tags within VDJ and close VDJ / restart for those genres not to show any more.
