I have numark mixtrack pro, with virtual dj pro. ( I will convert once the trial is over but have been having issues lately )
I just got numark dj/io because my friend told me it was necessary for the midi controller.
I know that there are better sound cards but I got this for free with a bunch of other stuff.
I have a hp laptop, and my virtual dj setup was none, headset/speakers and numark,
But when I installed the drive for the dj/io I changed setup to Asio driver at 256 samples -7.9ms/29.4ms
I used to have my reloop headset to my mixtrack pro but I was recommended to have it on the io.
But my biggest problem is that my mixing tends to lag a lot and I have to restart virtual dj pro. I can hear the music and it becomes non responding. Do I have the setup wrong? At the moment I don't have my pro speakers. Was going to get seismic audio 15" with exp3000....... Or B52- matrix 1000v2 so I was using my computer speakers which just jack in to the headset on my laptop.
My setup is currently. Laptop>USB port 1 to mixtrack pro.
Laptop> USB port to dj/io > headphones.
I also have rc cables and a whole bunch of other stuff so is could do other connections, but I have set up the simplest way. I didn't have my computer speakers connected because I couldn't hear anything from them anyways.
I posted something before regarding a issue I had but no one helped or replied. Please can anyone help me? Anything would be helpful, especially pictures. Thank you.
