I set Virtual DJ Pro Basic to stream on the internet through a Shoutcast server.
I've set up VDJ to be allowed through my firewall, I've opened the ports on my router, I've put my PC in the router's DMZ, and I've used QOS to give the ports high priority.
The shoutcast server streams at 256 kbps. I set Virtual DJ to that.
The servers are located in Dallas, Texas. So I did a speedtest check for Dallas, so see what my upstream is. I get 3 Mbps.
After about 20 minutes of streaming, the stream goes dead. Shoutcast server says no source connected. I look at VDJ, and it's still happily playing, and the recording tab has no error messages. If I stop recording and click it again, it reconnects and I can start with no issue. But this is not good, being cut off every 20 minutes.
I've tried another shoutcast server, and I've had the same issue.
