This is a message to anyone who can figure out this problem... However, to my knowledge, VDJ better get its shit together because Serato's Bridge is seriously innovative.
There has been a thread written about how to link VDJ with Ableton live, making Ableton the master and VDJ the slave. This makes it so that one can use all of Ableton's benefits WHILE using VDJ's awesome mixing and deck controls.
However, this guide has only been written for a PC and some of the mentioned programs do not support macs, thus this cannot work for a mac. Moreover, one has to download a bunch of programs and run them in conjunction with each other, which is potentially unstable and can fail during gigs. CANT VDJ MAKE A BRIDGE LIKE PROGRAM? ARE THEY WORKING ON ONE? WHATS THE DEAL?
Second, yes, there is the rewiring concept, which works. However, because VDJ is the master, this really limits what you can do with ableton. Am I wrong here? Is there something I'm missing out? Is there a way I can use Ableton's effects and tools while having the mixing capabilities VDJ has to offer?
