VirtualDJ v6 is an old and out of date version of the software. There have been many changes and improvements to the software since then (See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ_History.html ) - We are now on v7.0.4

Please register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then upgrade to the latest version: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Or purchase the latest version from the following page: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html

If you are using VirtualDJ for home use only without MIDI controllers/timecode/video, then you can download and use VirtualDJ v7 Home from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html - This version can be used completely free of charge for non-commercial home use (It may not be used a DJ gigs where you are being paid.)

It fails because you are most likely using an illegally acquired version.

Also your system is most likely being bogged down with bloatware and not been updated with OS updates or cleaned up in a while.

I use the new audio2 as well and it works perfectly although ive noticed it does load the system a bit. For the record a Celeron 2.2 is a poor CPU too!

It would suggest an issue with your system.

Uninstall VDJ, clean up and install the latest home edition. Open and set sound configuration and try again.

It won't work with your LE version - it requires you to connect and use your RMX.
