Hi there! I just discovered why the new skin I am making was crashing:
I have a hidden browser (because as I understand from various comments on the forum, a limitation of the VDJscript is that there MUST be a browser in every pannel and on the base skin. If you do not want one, you need to hide it...) and following directions of some people on the forum, I made the font size 0, the browser size 0, and delete the colors entries.
DO NOT DO THIS! It will probably make your skin crash (at least it did in my case)!
INSTEAD: Make the browser 5 pixels high and wide, the fontsizes all 1 and the colors all transparent. Ubicate the browser at the bottom right corner of your skin, at least 5 pixels from the borders.
You now have a hidden browser ;)

P.S.: I just found out that there should NOT be a browser on the base skin: EVERY browser should be in a panel! Hope this info is of some use...
