I tried uploading about 6 remixes to soundcloud and they're saying i dont have the rights to 4 of them (they're original mixes). Here's the 2 that went through. I know there's a few messups/glitches, but I think they add character. Any advice welcome.
Dubstep mix-

(ignore scratching at end... I got bored... lol)
Rap and Nintendo mix-

By the way, is there any other site that I can upload songs onto that won't say I don't have rights to post remixes of songs?
Thanks!

Hey TorkK,
Technically speaking these are mixes, not remixes. A remix would be taking the track apart the and putting it back with a different feeling, most remixes are done with origional materials.
The dubstep mix is quite nice as remark i would say its slightly 'crowded'. The second one, funny, but has no real direction where it goes. It has the feeling of two tracks running together, but not going either way. It did remind me of some silly mix I did because I was so stupid to have people do the most silly requests :P http://i.mixcloud.com/CUau4
As for the site, mixcloud.com is the place to go, forget about soundcloud.

Thank you for replying. I'll try to remember not to call them remixes. lol.
I guess I don't completely understand how to mix 2 tracks properly. I have another example of a mix I did and it's the same was as GreenHumps. This one is called "Daft Punks LMFAO" http://i.mixcloud.com/C7W9N But again, it has no real direction.
One thing I learned from listening to this after I recorded it is that (and correct me if I'm wrong) I should set the crossfader and use the track volume to focus on one track. Cause in this one you can hear when I moved the crossfader too far and correcting the position all while the tracks swap in volume. I guess I need to keep practicing and listening and practicing some more.
Thanks again!
