Dear all,

I have Virtual DJ 3 DJC edition, which is supplied together with Hercules MP3 E2 controller.

When I try to record a mix, it only gives me .wav option to save. Saved .wav file has 1411kbps bit rate which results in a huge size (for ex.: 1h mix = 631mb), hence very difficult to share/upload.

I would like to know whether it's possible to save my mixes in .mp3 format, and/or to manipulate bit rate (min. 192kbps would be fine).

I have downloaded the latest update for my software but it did not change anything. I have also downloaded lame_end.dll file and put it in the same folder as Virtual DJ (suggested by a friend) which didn't solve the problem either.

I would very much appreciate if you could help me out.

Thank you in advance!

Sorry, recording features in VirtualDJ Console Edition and VirtualDJ LE are limited. You can only record to a single file in WAV format.

To be able to record to MP3 and split into multiple files either on demand or automatically when crossfading, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional at a discount: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
