Topic: Hercules RMX and Virtual DJ Console Edition Problems?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I recently bought the Hercules RMX and it came with VDJ CE 5.2.2, and so far I haven't been able to figure out how to get any of the sound card configuration settings to appear. I click on "MORE" and all that comes up is the the option to get the VDJ Pro trial or to buy it (on another note, I haven't even used the 20 day trial and it says I already used it).

Well anyway, it'd be great if someone could help me figure out if I was sent a faulty disc or if there is no configuration for a sound setup. Virtual DJ Home has it and it's really easy to set up, but you can only use it with a controller for 10 minutes. I might just end up buying VDJ Pro.

With VDJ CE 5.2.2 you don't have any sound config options. That's right.
You can't use any other soundcards than Hercules RMX.
VDJ CE 5.2.2 is a limited edition of VDJ bundled to your controller for that you can use it without need to buy an extra DJ software.

With installed driver the Hercules RMX is your soundcard for use with VDJ CE 5.2.2.
Plug your cable to your amplifier or so into the Hercules RMX outs.

If you want to be more flexible with using other soundcards think about the upgrade to VDJ PRO FULL.
You can try for testing the downlodable VDJ HOME FREE.
The HOME FREE runs for each start 10 Minutes as VDJ PRO FULL. So you can check your hardware and so on.
