Topic: Background music extraction possible?

Is it possible to use this program to extract the background/theme music from a video, minus the sound effects and voices?

No audio software that I know of can do that, You could maybe try to extract the center channel (surround sound) with adobe audition or audacity from the mix as most dialog is projected through that channel, but sound effects come from everywhere. Your best bet though would be to watch the credits at the end of the movie to see the name of the song and download from itunes or similar.
