Topic: HERCULES DEEJAY TRIM 4&6 QUESTIONS!?!

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So for the longest time, I just used CDJ's connected to my mixer to mix. So I went ahead and purchased Deejay Trim, as my friend had suggested. Problem, Will i be able to connect my CDJ1000mk2, and CDJ800 , and my Numark DXM06 through hercules, and using the VDJ software. Also will the time coes cd's work???

yep you will be able too as long as your using VDJ Po and you down the Time Code from here using the PRO grade..
I have the trim and used it with a pair of CDJ 800 MKII with a Behringer 750 mixer and ran flawless....

Hi
Could you tell me an example for the 2/6 setup with hercules dj trim....i don't understand the use of it.
The 4/4 i understand....2 stereo inputs-turntables to 2 stereo outputs-2 channels on external mixer.
Thanx

Hi there, a friend of mine is trying to use the djtrim with timecodes, however, when she hits play it jumps back a second or so?? whats she doing wrong? any ideas. she's not into the whole forum thing hence me asking in her place.

@brianjohnstone try changing the timecode mode to "relative" and trying that, if that works then try "smart relative", it will give you the best transport control using just non midi cd players. There is three buttons on the standard VDJ7 skins on the scratch panel that allow you to switch it. You could also change the timecode "lead in time" in the timecode config menu.
