Right now I have my Denon 3700's, the Audio 8 DJ and the DDM4000. What I want know is do I need to DJ with four decks? If I don't, then I can sell the Audio 8 DJ and make other use of it. When I DJ, I only use two decks for my main mixing but I bring in instrumental and samples on the other 2 to make the mix sound fantastic. Can I do without four deck mixing?
Cheers!

Well its not strictly essential to have 4 decks as you could assign effects buttons to play samplesthough im not familliar with your controllers, (on my RMX i have 10 potential samples that are available, either on the skin i use or mapped onto the buttons on the hardware)
More isnt always better but if you can use 4 decks then why not use them....

@ DJPals...You have the sound card I am looking at to achieve the following:
Deck 1 to channel 1
Deck 2 to channel 2
Sampler to channel 3
Pre-listen to channel 4
I use dual NDX800's, with a DJIO (which is what I want to upgrade) connected to a DDM4000.
I use 4 decks when using the Mixmeister Controller, but with the NDX's or DJ Steel, I still stick with 2 decks.
