I've noticed this problem too, especially through studio monitor speakers. It's most noticeable between -1.0% and +1.0% pitch. I originally thought it might be a fault with the soundcards in my XP10's, but since getting TCV and Maya44 recently, the problem is still preset with these too.
I think this may be a bug added around the time that the video mixing feaures were added. I upgraded to a laptop and XP10's around this time and can't recall having this problem with my old PC that was running 2.x using D-Vinyl 2020 controller.

It is great to hear that the Auto Gain is going to be fixed, It is not that good in VDJ vs other Software on the market, maybe it will also be good to add an option like Always -4db and not just Always 0db
