allright! i met a dj who uses virtual dj and only djs with his laptop and i saw that he could control the crossfader when he scratched. it move back and for depending on how he scratched on the wheel.any idea on how to set it to do that?

keybord short cuts. which i forget cause i don't use the computer i always have my laptop hook up to hardware. check on youtube there is video on it. but the scratching is very limited and well not very impressive

That really depends on the crowd you serve and the DJ that is spinning. My audience would boo the hell out of me if I just came to DJ the party with plain mixing and no scratching or exciting mixes. Now I have DJ'd parties where no one in the audience understood scratching or cared about it. Because I work a with more of a hip hop audience, they actually like the scratching and excitement of how the next mixed song comes in.

Im pretty sure its 'Page Up' and 'Page Down' to control the crossfader, good luck.

i had mine mapped to the left/right arrow keys.

to find out what keys do which action, just goto

config>mappers>keyboard.

this will give you a list of "every" action and its corresponding key.
