Topic: adding video plug-ins (Third Party)

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi!

I am starting to use VDJ to mix video, which kicks the crap out of my old rig already! I was curious, like many on if there were any third party software plug-ins we could use? maybe steal them from serato? and if so how do you install them? I only ask because I like many do school events, and they want video, without all the girls dancing around and stuff. So I use alot of mosaic, chroma, and luma key effects and transitions when I mix, VDJ has none of these, (at least that I could find.) so I was thinking maybe we could use the plug in from another third party video editing software, or just use the plug in from serato? Anyone tried it? know where to start? any suggestions? thanks in advance!

VDJ has it's own video plugin format and the only other plugin type you can use is FreeFrame or Sonique.

VDJ Mac doesn't support FF.

Video plugins for Mac are available in our download section.

Hi I am using now VDJ 7 pro for iMac... everything works ok.. but no backdrop video effect and that a problem for led video output because of the size.
Someone out there can help me to resize the video output?
thanks
