when there is an update, could there be a search option as i'm used to using the feature on VDJ 7.
to use the folder and track selector seems to take more time to find the track and load it up so the remote is pretty much useless apart from starting and automixing the tracks.
Would be really good if this feature could be added.

Please help.. Driving me Crazy! (and sorry for long post!)
I am trying to connect iPhone/iPad to PC (Windows XP with up to date SP's etc).
I have latest and full version of VDJ.
PC is wired to same WiFi router used by iPad.
iTunes/Bonjour are installed and up to date.
iPad connects to internet ok
I can ping the iPad from the PC.
For clarification I have tried the following:
WEP and WPA etc
AES & TKIP etc
All firewalls (PC & Router) Off.
If I use a WiFi dongle on PC and set up ad-hoc network I can connect without problems (except for the usual connection dropping out problem).
Therefore this *must* be a problem with router but I cannot figure out what!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Check your Apps in iTunes - should be already in the list. Just mark it for reinstallation.

You should check your security settings on the router. Some have an option to prevent connections between devices.

Ipad with Virtual DJ Remote
I'm hoping someone might have an idea:
I loaded Virtual DJ Remote on my Ipad but I am unable to connect to my computer with the Ad-Hoc network. I believe I did everything correctly but when I try to access the Ad-Hoc network I get an "unable to connect" message. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you install iTunes & Bonjour Services from Apple ? As i remember the Bonjour is part of the iTunes installation.
Are the PC and the iDevice you are using for iRemote in the same Wireless Network and see each other (not blocked by Firewall or Router) ?

Hey. I'm having a bit of trouble using this. I have VDJ opened with "Enabled" set to true on the iPhone tab. I load up the app on my phone and it just says "Trying to locate Virtual DJ" Any ideas? I'm guessing theres a specific port that I need to unblock

Adam.
