Topic: Recording mix with Timecode Setup in Virtual 7...would this work?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Using Advanced Config, Audio 8 DJ soundcard (8 in, 8 out) and DJM-600 external mixer

Deck 1 Audio 8 DJ (ASIO) Output 1 & 2
Deck 2 Audio 8 DJ (ASIO) Output 3 & 4
Timecode 1 Audio 8 DJ (ASIO) Input 1 & 2
Timecode 2 Audio 8 DJ (ASIO) Input 3 & 4
Sampler Audio 8 DJ (ASIO) Output 5 & 6
Recorded Loopback Audio 8 DJ (ASIO) Input 5 & 6

Input 5 & 6 would go to the REC OUT of external mixer

Am I thinking this through correctly? If not what am I missing? Is there some mapping involved?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I have the same interface and everything looks good. Dont forget to turn your record out to unity gain (0dB) and watch those channel/master vu levels. The sound coming out of the A8DJ is HOT!!

Please DO NOT post the same question more than once.

Also do not post on the end of an old thread, with a question this is not related to the thread topic.

You can find your answer in the VDJ wiki here
