Ok. i had decided long ago to build a touchscreen skin. Actually i have made a couple in the past, but never a single screen touchscreen skin.
I guess its time now, since VirtualdJ ver7 gives us so many tools.
The skin will have large (finger size) buttons, large round sliders, and will be fully functionable with just the touchscreen. I will make sure that every single VDJ feature will be accesible.

This time we will do it TOGETHER !

So lets start with the buttons ..

I think it has also the potentials to be an Ipad Skin ...maybe ...

Hi Bob,

Due to the lack of good skins in 1024x768, I'm using the standard VDJ skin when remote controlling with the ipad. It works well however the buttons are a bit small for operating with finger touch.

Making your new skin 1024x768 would be fantastic for ipad use.

Ok..here we go... not ready yet (i would say 60%), but its going well.

Possibly adding vid panels to where the effects are, also......
 
Yes, video will be added in panels. Actually Video decks will be placed at the right & left corner of the rhythm, and there will be a center panel for master and video features.
 
Cool, are you gonna make them so that when you touch them it will fade to that deck like the default?? What resolution are you planning on 1280X1024?? If you need a tester let me know I am runnin a 17" touchscreen at 1280X1024.
 
 
Using 19" touchscreen @ 1280x1024, if you need another tester.

Friend can rest assured that I will be doing comment, my screen resolution is 18.5hd,there resolution skin in my screen
 
Most definately will help ya, is there gonna be Jogs?? And on the Video windows, I currently love Valemix, and love the fact that I cane use the video previews to transition to the next video. Lookin good man let me know what you need.

Is your 18,5 " screen a touchscreen?

The skin is designed for 4:3 ratio. Resizing a skin without browser at diefferent ratio will not give you good results. there wil be a 16:9 & 16:10 version but it will be for later.

No jogs. We have to face reality. No one scratches with touchscreens. But there will be scratchwave panels to help users easily navigate through the song and find the exact cue point.
Video previews, yes they will have transition actions.
