I'm using version 7 with the "Virtual 7 - 2 Decks (1440x900) skin. It's an eye test for me and I am failing. Can I get into a file and modify the text height? It's killing me smalls! LOL :-)

Not sure about Mac, but it's the same procedure as Windows
Find Zip file containing BMP & XML
Drag XML to desktop
Edit using a text editor and look for the "browser" section, text sizes are in there to be changed
Save file
Drag back to update Zip file
Reload in VDJ

It is exactly the way, I'm just not sure about the Mac commands but the sequence of events are the same.
If you have Bootcamp, it's easier to do it in Windows then move the ZIP file back to the Mac side.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I've been busy jumping ship from Mac to PC. Yikes! My 4 year old MacBook Pro just couldn't handle music videos. The screen also has a "power management" issue, causing the screen to black out on the lower 2/3. Bad. So I'm now on a new PC - until I can get a new MacBook...
I found both Mac/PC are the same for the XML file - at least this section. If you search the word "browser", you will find this:

I simply changed the bolded "23" above. THen rezip the file (if needed) and place into the folder for the particular screen resolution you are editing. Close VDJ, reopen, go to prefs and select the screen resolution and it should work. I'm so glad to have found this! My eyes are not like they used to be!
I'd also like to increase the size of the TIME REMAINING, but I had some troubles with that. Not tweaked yet...
Now on to the coolnees that the PC users have been raving about - like the multiple effects - including text scrolling. Sad, but I have wanted that feature for a few years!
