Topic: HELP Version 7 & Rhythmzone !!!!

Ok, I'm trying to code my first VER.7 skin and I am having a hell of a time with the rhythmzone function.

I've got the waveform functionality working, it displays the waves and cues and cuepoints etc.

However, if I use the command in my XML, all of my play, cue, pause, sync buttons STOP functioning

I have been scratching my head with this for hours....

please, what am I missing????

And I also can't get the dropzones for decks 2 or 3 to work either

and can you only dislpay 2 preview video's?

Why don't they give more detailed information in the skin sdk?

I'm grumpy, i'm gonna stop typing now

Post here the rhythmzone part of your xml. It would also help to post a screenshot and the resolution you make the skin.

I want to clarify though... I can get the rhythymzone component to work just fine
What's happening is.. If I use the rhythmzone command instead of
The old rhythm command, I lose the functionality of my play/cue buttons

Keyboard shortcuts and mix_now_nosync button works also

Was wondering if anyone else was having similar issues at first and knew what was causing it.

Will post the XML shortly... It's not complete yet but I'll post what I have.

Will also email you the file.

CHANGE THE VERSION TO "700" - does this fix the problem??

N.B. the version must the be the version of Virtual DJ - not your skin version. 700 represents 7.0.0 - the current version.

lol, i still can't load decks 3 and 4 though... and I changed the y coord to get rid of the overlap too..

??

You also need decks="4" in this top section - as illustrated in the quote.
