To anyone that can assist.
I just purchased American DJ DP2 and then proceeded to purchased Virtual DJ Pro both yersterday. Well when I connect the the DP2 to my computer and load Virtual DJ, it will not recognize the controller. I went to "Config" and tried to "scan for devices" it does not bring up the DP2. I played around with it for a while before I finally gave up, uninstalled Virtual DJ Pro, and then re-installed it. The controller works perfectly fine with the program it came with (PCDJ DEX), so I know that it's not damaged. Just can't get Virtual DJ to "recognize" the DP2.
Anyone with any ideas, please respond. It would be greatfully appreciated.

1. Does DP2 shows up as a sound card (ASIO) in the sound setup ?
2. According to your post, in the Mapper Tab, it doesnt show up on the drop down menu. Next to it, (Mapper options) is the Use Midi Devices checked (enabled)?
3. Did you try any mappers or other Definition files from the Download area ? Do you see any DP2 files in MyDocuments/VirtualDJ/Mappers or MyDocuments/VirtualDJ/Devices??
[EDIT] I just noticed the date of the original post. I hope he found the way out.
