I cant seem to get the broadcasting to work. iv got a router and tryed to connect the url on my winamp on my other comp using the same network still wont work just says time out. any help? :(

Make sure your firewalls are disabled and you have typed the url correctly.

if you use a router don't forget to forward the port 8000 to the correct computer
exemple you have 2 computers connected to the router
first be sure the computer you'll use for broadcasting your music have a static ip
give him for exemple 192.168.0.10
then in port forwarding on the router configuration add
the port 8000 for the computer ip adress 192.168.0.10
so every computer connecting to your network from internet on the port 8000 will be forwarded to the port 8000 of the computer you run vdj on ...
also disable the winxp - firewall
then you can try connecting to you're internet ip adress you can check the real internet adress here http://www.whatismyip.com/
