Topic: Filters v2.0 not working

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Just looking around and found this at the top of the list, http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/4294/Filters.html, well I downloaded and installed but it doesnt show up in the effects section. I can see the "dll" and the name does appear but I cant turn it on. Any ideas on what I should do??

I'm on XP SP3 and I have intalled Visual C++ 2008 & 2005 Redistributable Package but i have the same problem of beatbreaker1 :(

Now thats what I like to see..A Team up!! ;-) No problem here with the Plug.Humm thats a Real unusual Result there "Beat". Maybe this has been causing other Problems as well ? Google to see why your getting this! but scott will know.

Name change??

Which package did you download from that link, vcredist_x86.exe? Sounds like you downloaded the wrong version for your OS. You definately won't want the IA64 that you probably downloaded ;)

C, as I said above it's compiled against a specific version of the runtime library so you need to ensure you have that exact version installed. I'm sure it was the 2005 SP1 with ATL update I linked to above.

Hey thanks Scott, you were right I did download the wrong 1. It was vcredist_x86.exe that I needed. Maybe in the plugin description he should add that??
And yeah name change, I had posted "Effects Not Working" and someone (which I thought was you Scott) changed it to "Filters v2.0 not working".........well either way we got it worked out, lol!!

On my Windows 7 the plugin work fine, in my other PC with XP no way :(
