Topic: how to map dm2 scratch wheels to scratch on vdj 6.1?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i got everything mapped except i cannot figure out the 2 scratch wheels and the joy stick for that matter, any help?
btw i just upgraded from vdj 5.3 (i think) and everything was working fine with 5 i could scratch and mix, (i deleted v.5 when i got v.6) now i just have that tiny detail of the scratch wheels and joystick (i want to map the joystick to work the tk filter) not working, and oh yea i heard the vdj 6 will light up my leds on the dm2 does anyone know how that works?
im using dm2midi

There has never been a VirtualDJ v5.3 (v5.2.1 was the last v5 version before we moved on to v6)

Please download and use the latest v6.1 trial http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html

Unfortunately TK Filter cannot be controlled by MIDI because it uses a custom graphic user interface and does not support effect slider - It can only be controlled with your mouse.

You may need to make a definition file for this device to work correctly (Especially for LED's which Simple MIDI Wrapper does not support) - http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/ControllerDefinition.html
