I'm thinking about buying some hardware for VDj.
I've looked more info about the UC33e at Evolution Web, but I have doubts on the VDJ possibilities.
I would thank more info from any user working with the UC33e.
- We can control 9 sample volumes...
- You need to configure it with a sound card, or you can plug it to a mixtable too...
- We can configure the knobs for eq of the main desk...
- We can activate plugi-ins...
- ...

You should be able to map any control on the console to any function of VDJ, but you will not get sound out of a UC33e; it is strictly a controller and not a sound device. You will need at least one sound card for output and cueing. Most laptops and desktops have an internal soundcard, though you would want an external sound card for better quality, in general.
I have looked into this controller and others like it in the past also, and may have gotten one if it had one of its faders positioned horizontally. I could certainly map one of the veritcal faders to crossfade, but that would not be 'ergonomically correct' ;)
