It didn't happen before, only with v3.
I am using a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L1300 laptop with Hercules controller, 1.4GHz Celeron, 480MB RAM, 40GB hard drive, which is 2/3rds full. I have tweaked the system as per the suggestions stuck at the top of this forum in order to try and solve the problem but to no avail.

try to lower the reactivity in the settings, if this doesn't help
try to set different max load time.
What is you free memory, when VDJ is not running ?
maybe you run out of memory and windows starts to swap normal memory to virtualmemory on HDD, and that is the reason it skips ...
strange that only on deck 2
